ECO LIGHT TUNNEL
(also known as solar tubes, tubular skylights, light tubes)


Tubular skylights are easy to install. They transfer light through reflective tubing from a dome mounted on the roof to the space inside the building that requires more light.

The picture on the left presents an example use of the Eco Light Tunnel tubular skylights. This installation makes use of two different types of tubing. The first type employs rigid tubing that transfers a maximum amount of light (99.5%) even over long tube lengths. The second type uses a flexible sleeve characterized by lower performance. These are used to transfer light over short distance to places that are difficult to reach.




In most buildings there are rooms that need more natural light. It is due to the lack of windows, difficult access to the roof or other construction obstacles, such as suspended ceilings. The best solution in such cases is the installation of an energy-efficient and modern ECO LIGHT TUNNEL tubular skylight. As a result, rooms lit by artificial light will be filled with the healthier and more pleasant sunlight.

Eco light tunnel works in a very simple way. Sunlight coming from different directions is absorbed by a dome installed on the roof. The dome directs the sunlight into the tubing, which is made of top-quality reflective material characterized by an increased reflection coefficient. The light is subsequently transferred to a diffuser by way of mirror reflections. Non-polarized light coming into the room brightens the area evenly and does not cause reflexes on smooth surfaces (e.g. computer displays, screens).

Regardless of the weather conditions outside, the light in the room has a much higher colour rendering index than any artificial light source. The ECO LIGHT TUNNEL can optionally be fitted with an electric light kit, becoming a source of artificial light during the night.
